Bidding Rules

Binding Bids All bids placed during live WhatsApp auctions are considered valid and binding once submitted in the group.
Winning Bidder The highest valid bid placed before the official closing time will be declared the winning bid unless otherwise stated by admin.
Fake or Spam Bids Repeated fake bidding, trolling or auction disruption may result in immediate removal from the auction group.
Age Requirement Any member participating in the auction must be of the age 18+ to place bids or purchase products through BidByBid Auctions.
Items Sold As Is All items are sold as is unless otherwise stated by admin during the auction or within the item description. All products are brand new and sealed in the original packaging. Photos placed on the group are for illustration purposes only.

Payments

Invoice Process Winning bidders receive invoices directly from admin after auctions have officially closed.
Payment Timeframes Payments must be completed within 2 days after receiving your invoice to avoid cancellation or removal from the groups.
Order Processing Orders only move into processing once payment has cleared and been confirmed successfully.
Accepted Payment Methods BidByBid Auctions currently accepts EFT bank transfers and cash deposits (3% must be added for cash deposits). Payment details are provided directly on your invoice after winning an auction.
Payment Reference Please use your invoice number or provided reference when making payment to help admin confirm your order quickly and accurately.
Auction Commission An 8% auction commission fee will be added to the final invoice total for all winning bids unless otherwise stated during promotional events.

Dispatch Updates Members receive dispatch notifications and courier updates once orders are processed and booked within 4 - 6 business days from date of payment confirmed.
Courier Fees Delivery costs are charged separately unless otherwise specified during promotional auction events.
Courier Delays Delivery times may vary depending on courier operations, weekends, holidays and external logistical delays.

Respectful Behaviour Members must remain respectful towards admin and fellow bidders throughout all auction events.
No Advertising External promotions, unrelated links and unnecessary group spam are not allowed without admin approval.
Right To Refuse Service BidByBid Auctions reserves the right to remove members or refuse service where rules are violated.
Auction Compliance WhatsApp and online auctions involving the sale of new items may not require SAIA registration or a police auction licence, subject to applicable South African laws and regulations.
